Going's on

Well, we have had estimates for a composite wood deck and a sprinkler system to be installed this spring. Needless to say, we budgeted correctly for the sprinkler system, but not the deck. Can you believe six grand for a simple 13x13 deck? That's only four times more than anticipated. So, if we want a deck it seems that we will be bribing some friends. I know that you can't wait to hear those stories. Next question, do we get the sprinkler system installed before the deck now that we know it might take a while to get done?

Delaying the deck is also that realization that day care for the new baby will be around $800 a month when we start that in January. Ouch!!

We are just having an exciting time in Sacramento tonight! We are watching a long track of railroad burn up on TV. We could see the big cloud of smoke from our house out one window and out the other we can see the Goodyear blimp flying over ARCO arena. Pretty spectacular! I guess the NCAA tournament is just too hot for Sac town.

Howdy

I think that I have figured this Blog thing out now.
On April 2, we are going to the Monday practice round of the Master's in Augusta, GA. I will put a picture or two in this blog for all to gawk at.

We are looking forward to finding out the baby's gender in April when we return from the Master's. It will be quite exciting.

Yes, it's a dog's life around here! Mookie shows his human companions how to REALLY enjoy a Sunday afternoon!! Kevin took the advice to heart and cuddled in bed to watch TV! Of course Kevin's blankets aren't fresh from the dryer though!

It's been a while

Well, I have had some real difficulty getting into the Blog since the new year. I was finally able to get the system to work this morning. Brandon spent the past 3 weeks in England for work, and Samantha was lucky enough to join him for a quick 4 day vacation at the end of the work schedule. It was quite fun, and exhausting, look for an online photo album to be shared soon. I'll also post some pictures here for all to see...eventually.
